Oh, I love it. But only when Deb sings it (like on the Live album), I can't stand him. It's just awesome on the Live album. The way she puts attitude into his rap "You're a playa and when I say playa, I mean PLAYA, 'cuz YOUR DADDY WAS A PLAYA AND YOUR UNCLE WAS A PLAYA!" And that ending, *chills.* "Who's gonna cryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy over yooooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuu?" The thing that I love about the Live album is that none of it was touched up, she's truly singing live.

It's weird that Good Boys on that Carson Daly show (I was flipping through :P) got me interested in them.
I think that's why I love Blondie and Deb, because they encompass so many different genres. Jazz, pop, rock, punk, country, disco, rap, you name it. Their sound constantly changes but they always remain the same. Their singles and hits don't even scratch the surface.

No ****. I got the DVD home when it was released and it was a totally different concert, with the exception of Forgive and Forget. It has Boom Boom and In the Flesh, though. But at least they have different sets every show, unlike another band we know of. At the show I went to in May, they played War Child (<33333333333), Dog Star Girl, Bike Boy, Detroit 442, Accidents, lots of rare ones. I wish they'd haul out Faces. In the "Beneath the Bleach" doc, they showed how they choose songs for each night: get a big list of them and then just cross some off randomly.

Le Debs did "Faces" during the Debravation tour. It's on a video I have of her concert in Pittsburgh from... 94, I think.

Ne Me Quitte Pas sung by Alison Moyet, after few months and thanks to the singing voice thread she's made a glorious comeback in my playlist tonight.

Record show.

I got it for about $10. I know, buying bootlegs isn't right, but I rarely see solo Debbie CDs, let alone boots. So... I gave in. It's a fab recording, the person who taped it was like, right up front. She sounded awesome. If I had another working VCR, I'd make you a copy.

Currently listening to The Pretenders - The Wait, by the way.
