I went to visit my mom today...even though its only been a day LOL I miss her terribly! Plus she needed a few things. I didnt mind driving the like hour and then 30 minutes of traffic to see her. I tried to keep myself together. But as visiting hours were coming to an end I broke down and stated bawling saying that I missed her and that I was stressed and i cant wait to have her home in a week! Obviously she started crying too lol but I was even more sad to leave and drive an hour back with my grammy. I brought gram home and made her a sandwich for dinner with some chips on the side and made sure she took her meds...oh and made sure my cat was fed....

Went to ashley's to watch some tv shows we watch on monday's...sleeping over ashley's tonight then sleeping at home tomorrow.

P.S.I'm still trying to air out my moms room of cigarette smoke lol

I am happy for you that your mother is receiving help, but also horrified about the stress you must be under. You must be strong.

I am wondering though what kind of treatment she could be receiving for a week. Is it just detox? Recovery takes a lot longer than a week. I wish all of you the best of luck, but I do wonder whether she will have acquired the necessary tools to battle her addiction within a week. If nothing else, she will need a LOT of support from you and others who have gone through the same thing. Best of luck!

Caitlin I wish u all the best in the world! I can't even imagine the stress you're under. Just remember that stress can make u sick honey. Try your best to just breathe and be strong. Not tryna be all religious but HE doesn't give us anything that we can't handle. You got this lil mama! Just pace yourself. And remember YOU CAN'T TAKE CARE OF ANYONE IF YOU DON'T TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.

Thanks..Oh I am strong lol I have at least one breakdown a day lol i gotta let it out or else I get angry at people and thats not good.

I think its a detox place. The minimum you can stay is a week. Then I think they assess the person and see if they need to stay longer. Plus i think it depends on how severe the person's addiction is. I saw people who were way worse than my mom. They go to meetings everyday and group sessions and its a nice place.

Oh I know recovery takes more than a week. My moms been trying to quit drinking for YEARS on her own. I know she wants to do it on her own but she cant...she always falls back. Plus her now ex-bf moved out because my mom kicked him out since he drinks a million times more than she does lol

When my moms comes back shes gonna be going to AA meetings on a regular basis and make some new friends who dont drink

Thanks love =) Yea too much stress can make you sick...I've actually been having some pains in my upper stomach area...idk if its stress or what...cuz i'll eat and it'll still be there off and on during the day...

I got the job!

...well, assuming I pass the drug test tomorrow, which I will. Its part-time mininum wage which is less than what I make at my current job, but at least this will supplement the hours I lost.

I might I have slight issue if my boss at my main job wants to get me back to 40hrs. I don't plan on telling him about my new job. I'll just see how things come along.

UGH!
I went to my friends moms friends house to do her hair
My uncle called me and we only talked for like 5 minutes and my phone was almost dead when my mom was like almost full battery.....
So i turned my phone off so when I got home and I could charge my phone and wait for my mom to call me...
Well on my way home from dropping Ash off her house I turned my phone on and noticed she called twice...but when I called I got an operators thing...So I figured after a certain time they turn the phone off so I was rather sad...
But then my mom called me =D So now I'm happy..
