When there has been so much of something and you get down to the end of it, it's very sad. When it happened a thousand times in the past, but you can count the number of times it will happen again in the future, it's heartbreaking.

I was thinking that when I went home for Christmas and my mother was with her brothers and her sister and I thought, this may well be the very last time they are all together in one place. And, of course, I think that about Fleetwood Mac. When it comes to Christine, it may already have been the last time and every softer moment takes on a sad glow or hue because of that. Christine with her head down meant nothing when that photo was taken, but in retrospect it says much.

But this is a Mirage photo. They were together again for The Dance Tour, and for one night of the Mask Tour.

yes, I know that they were all Mirage photos. But that's what I meant when I said that her head was down for no particular reason in the photo. No loss or regret when the photo was snapped, but in retrospect it seems poignant.

It's the same thing with Little Lies. On one hand, it can be sing songy and mean nothing. Fast forward to Lindsey leaving the group and Christine saying that she wrote it, in part, as a message to him. You look back on it and it seems to take on an emotion it didn't have originally.

Oh, I don't mean that photo was the last time for anything. When I said it may already have been the last time, it wasn't with respect to that photo. I only mean that the last time Christine would be photographed with the rest of them may have already have occurred. I assume it happened in 2009, but really don't know.

I had never heard that about Little Lies, interesting. I also like your analogy to Doctor Who. I can definitely see what you mean there.

Also, I don't know what it is about the Mirage era - maybe it's the outfit, maybe it's the hair, but I love it! I think the only LB look I'm not really a fan of is the Go Insane/Eraserhead hair

He looks good in the Little Lies video though

Yes, this is what Christine said about the song:

Thanks! All of their comments about TITN make me sad. It isn't my favorite FM album in the slightest! But I just always feel sad for them in terms of where their relationships with each other were at that point; from all accounts it seemed like a really horrible time for them all. I guess considering all they had already overcome, I just have this urge to scream "HANG ON!" (if I had been there

) and other supportive things, but ultimately I think the break apart did them all good.

I agree the only look I'm not a huge fan of is "eraser head." Maybe too many creepy or eccentric rather, connotations for me since viewing the movie. Haha, also great insight to Little Lies. I hadn't heard Christine's comment before..love when you can listen to songs on a deeper level. Really GET them, ya know?!
