One of my friends/bosses/guys I occasionally play with, Mitch Mitchell of Guided by Voices, was mentioned in today's White House press briefing by Press Secretary Carney.

^^^Have a great time Caitlin! The weather is perfect.

I saw a young woman wearing hospital purple sitting in a car repair waiting room and I asked her, "could you tell me a little bit about your profession?"
She answered, "I work in a hospital."

If there's one thing that royally pisses me off, it's my dad's Xbox friends. It clearly says on the online menu that I am WATCHING A DVD so please please do not send me invites to play Call of Duty or I will put the headset on and go River Song on your a$$.

God. I can't even watch Doctor Who in peace.

I'm posting from a window seat in Dorset. I can hear seagulls and my sister and I just got home from an evening walk into the seaside town. We went to the beach and into a bookshop that is wall to wall books, it smells divine. We've also solved the! "I miss my puppy!!" situation because we've already befriended the lady from the bric-a-brac shop who has 3 of the cuddly babies. She says that if we get withdrawals that we can go and spend as much time as we like with her Shih Tzu's

That's sorted then. I'm disappearing for a few days. You'll find me in a bookshop in Dorset with a sudden onset of photo-phobia and a thin coating of dust, surrounded by a finely crafted book forte

I'm coming along as well. I love just having a book in my hands so I can smell it. There will be no Kindle purchases in this house.

Me too. The scent of old books is a deep favourite of mine. As long as you don't try and part me from any Oscar Wilde or Lord Byron I come across while there, we should get along splendidly

Tonight my parents and I watched a movie on CrackleTV called "The Squid and the Whale." Awful movie (it was no surprise to see later on that Wes Anderson co-produced.). Of course I had no idea going into this that it featured scenes of an adolescent boy, um, inducing himself to expel a certain bodily fluid and subsequently smearing said substance on surfaces around the school. My parents are in their seventies and my mother was puzzled by this. I wanted to DIE. Note to self: do not watch R rated movies with your elderly parents.

Just thought I'd share.

I have just recently finished watching the whole 9 series on CBS Drama - I must admit it's been a real guilty pleasure!

The 4-part "Dynasty - The Reunion" is being shown this weekend and as I have no other plans........
