I hardly ever wear flip flops at night unless I'm coming back late from the beach. I hate walking in the dark or especially through grass at night in flops. Too many furry little critters can jump at your toes and maybe take one off.

It is pouring the rain outside as we speak, here. The news said something about tropical moisture coming from the south and Caribbean and covering the state the next few days... we needed the rain but I miss my sun already. But not the summer heat.

My little sister just appeared at my door with my Harry Potter bedsheets. I'm actually crying because I'm so happy. I haven't seen them in years and they're so soft and RELEVANT TO MY LIFE.

The pass between the islands down there is very very deep water and people have drowned being swept out to sea there. More than likely though they've caught that out on the water and transported it in somehow. Big fish don't hang around the shore like that you're correct lol.
