I was there. He said it. In fact a little of it got picked up on the mic. I don't think it was anything above and beyond their normal realm of interaction, well these days anyway. However, I really don't believe it was intended to be heard by anyone but her.

From the Live in Boston DVD. This was right after she dedicated "Landslide" to him. My favorite is the second one. The way he's looking at her.....

I read online that the song Thrown Down was written about what happened in 1997. That Lindsey had been flirting with Stevie during The Dance (see the 5-member interview on Youtube), and they quite possibly rekindled their relationship in an affair when Lindsey found out his girlfriend was pregnant. Does anyone know if this has any credence?

This is a theory that a lot of people believe or talk about. Stevie also has admitted Fall From Grace is about Linds, and was written during The Dance tour. Who knows what really happened, but it seems like if Stevie put out Thrown Down and Fall From Grace, and told us both were indeed about Linds, she seems to want us to believe something happened.

Very interesting, thanks for the response. I didn't know Fall From Grace was written then, too. Hmmmm....could anything along these lines be connected to why Christine really left the band?? Something like a betrayal of trust, being upset with his antics, I don't know.

Abbi, I know. My favorite is the second one as well. As soon as I saw that, I was like "need to make a gif of that for sure!" It's just the way he stares at her so intensely sometimes.....

I need to watch that DVD again too so I can prepare my mom for Linds antics when we go to the concert in June.

I thought this Winnepeg writer had some sweet comments about SnL and the love that they share being different than it was in the past, but perhaps deeper than it was too.
