I got the Cream 3 CD compilation album recently, also Robert Cray's new dual disc album.

Gonna be buying Oasis's new album next week and Jamiroquai's new release in June..

OMG, I just recently bought the Rob Thomas and think it is amazing. I love the entire thing along with Lisa Marie Presley's new cd. Good stuff.

I just bought the new Dave Matthews this weekend and havent had a chance to listen to much of it yet. It sounds different than their other stuff though.

aside from FM + solo albums, i really don't buy music anymore. i tend to blow my money on vacations, wine, and home furnishings.

dropkick murphys - tessie
steve poltz - one left shoe (replacement)
the stormy weather disc
jeff buckley - grace (replacement)
littlest man band - better book ends
mick fleetwood band - something big (actually and surprisingly a good album)

all used, all in two trips to the same fabulous store that i will now promote:

Future Legends
on the east side of 9th ave, somewhere between 52th-54th streets, NYC
new and used vinyls and CDs, also memorabilia - mostly stones and bowie.

Yep. I know Dave's is still around; There's a few locations. There's one in the South Side, and one.. somewhere. I dunno. I know the Beehive's still there, not sure about Hot Rod. I was just down at Dave's, and Groovy the other day. I love it over there. ^_^

Then I don't really get to spend any quality time with my CDs. Seriously though.
Oooh. I'm so bad. I am obsessed with buying CDs. Or, it's not really an obsession and more like an uncontrolled habit. I have too many CDs because I have such a wide range of taste in music. I also buy too many books, clothes, furniture, and work supplies- although the latter is necessary and the only thing I shouldn't really be ashamed of.

I guess shoes is like the only thing I've never been really obsessed about. I like shoes, but I'm not really the "Ohhhhh Shoooeeesss" type. But never say never.

You truly are after my heart, I'm convinced.

Gah, I'm so awful about buying movies. I buy them constantly. If I'm driving alongside the road and I see a video store with a "Movie Sale" sign, I literally pull over, get out, and look. I get the circulars on Sunday, circle the ones I want, and then price check them at different stores to get bigger discounts (never shake a stick at an extra 15% off!).

Yes, all the other things that have been mentioned are things that I could go nuts buying if given the opportunity. But I've never been into shoes. What is it about shoes? I own seven pairs of "school" shoes, three "formal occasion" shoes, and like, four or five pairs of flip-flops. And those are some of the only shoes out there that I even like. Whenever I go shopping for new shoes, I know I won't splurge because there just aren't really any out there that I like that much.

I just got this. Love this movie...can't wait until I actually have a chance to watch the Special Edition.

Most recent CDs? Snow Patrol--Final Straw, David Bowie--Ziggy Stardust movie soundtrack, and (thanks to the Ledge) Richard Ashcroft's--Alone With Everybody. I quite like the Ashcroft one! And I'm excited to have so much affection for a CD that apparently all of his fans (on Amazon anyway) think is his worst effort!
