I'm about a quarter of the way into Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix.
Harry potter and the goblet of fire was the first of the series i've read and i will read the first 3 (i do have all 6 books) after i have read the last one.
I made the mistake With the goblet of fire of finishing it just before i saw the film, and all you do than during the film is compare it to the book for better or worse, i should have known better after the same thing happened with grisham's the pelican brief and Tolkien's The Two Towers.
That is why i want to finish this fifth potter book way before the film is finished and i'm not even going to read dan brown's the Da vinci Code , atleast not before i see the film.

ugh - just read an awful anne tyler book, called the amateur marriage. usually anne tyler is good for an easy read that requires no thinking. this one made me use too much energy trying to stay awake.

Rich Dad's guide to investing by Robert Kiyosaki. I saw him on PBS and I really liked what he had to say. next stop, ebay for cheaper prices on richdad/poordad merchandise. now Im educating myself.

kenneth c. davis - don't know much about history

i realized the other day that despite having taken several history & gov't classes in high school, i'm pretty retarded when it comes to the specifics of u.s. history.

Got through reading Marianne Faithfull's autobiography and Ian Carr's bio of Miles Davis. Just got Dr. Andrew Weil's 8 Weeks to Optimum Health and William Faulkner's As I Lay Dying at the library today.

I am reading Kite Runner, which is one of the best reads in ages. But really sad and I can only handle a little bit at a time.
