You know that old saying, “Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it?”[/QUOT This circus opens in almost 2 months (October 3--LB's birthday of all dates) and they are trial running this in September in Vegas I live in NY--now granted it doesn't coming rolling thru here until next year but this press around this tour is virtually non existent. Even my Ticketmaster updates, which were throwing this in my face 2 months ago aren't mentioning it. My thoughts when this farce was announced in April were wow--if this is a farewell, it's truly sad they are going out this way. Now, almost 4 months later, it's actually an embarrassment to FM if this is their Farewell tour. Barely a footnote. FM management/press really should be working overtime here. I am sure after their last interview they are working on refining their story (lie), but hey, this is what M/S/J/C wanted--you are big boys and girls who make a lot of money--get out there and own your screw up. The promotion around this is really non existent. Lindsey needs to get some solo work out there now--people are chomping to see him more than his former friends and bandmates. |

The bond that Lindsey and Christine have was real. I watched them during the BuckVie shows very closely and they were laughing and having a blast. Not just during the music but.. whispering in each other ears, hugging, being totally playful. They've collaborated the entire time since they've met. The go very well together.
Their body language compared to B/N is a 360. At times, I though $tevie might implode if Lindsey hugged her any longer. You could tell she wanted nothing to do with him. I hope we find out what Christine's role was in this. It's hard for me to wrap my head around.

Exactly. And that is why I am more angry at her because she could have put a stop to this entire shenanigan by putting her foot down and telling Mick and Stevie that she was walking out the door too and then Fractured Mac would not have been able to continue. The band would be over and Stevie could go back to her very successful solo career.

Amen to that!...... Stevie’s solo tour and Fleetwood Mac is put on hold (strike 1) The “Duet Album” because no Stevie (strike 2) No new music with the 5 to promote the up coming tour (strike 3) Done! |

But even if she doesn't think she owes to him, there's still something evil in Fleetwood and the McVies, and now they also have Stevie. It's not the first time they create an alliance to fire someone. Guess Christine easily forgot what Lindsey did with her music last year.
