Looks like it. He's been wearing contacts all along, because he has apparently needed glasses since high school, at least.

Hard contact lens...awful! Beside the fact that they are very visible, as this pic show us. I wear soft lens, and no one ever noticed it. I'm not sure soft lens existed in the 70's, my mum in fact used hard lens when she was young but after some time her eyes became sensitive and she couldn't wear it anymore. Anyway, I didn't know that Lindsey was myopic.

Welcome to the 70's, when everyone was hairy. Even women in the right place (perhaps even Chris and Stevie..can you imagine??)

I'm not sure....is this Lindsey when he was a child?

My mother wore hard contacts too. Basically, you had to develop calluses on your eyes and that's how, eventually, you could wear them without irritation. I don't know if I could have done it. They seemed to require much more maintenance than our soft lenses do today. I well remember her cleaning solutions and containers cluttering our bathroom.

Javier Pacheco mentioned Lindsey getting contacts. We see Stevie in reading glasses often, but we just see Lindsey in his shades.

Yep. Cute kid. By the way, the Show You How video Lindsey did is nice to look at, when you put it in slow motion. He has childhood photos in there.

Love it.

I wonder if that BN shot is when they opened for John Prine.

Yeah, I know! They didn't get a great review though.

Have to post the article this evening.

I have possibly a daft question...In the photograph which appears in the interior packaging for Fleetwood Mac Live...Are the weird circles (Not the pupils, for any smart arses out there!) within Lindsey's eyes contact lenses? I only really noticed them now as I'm drawing from the picture (It's nearly 1am and I'm bored so doodle time). His eyes are actually completely mental in this picture...They don't match :/

Looks like contact lenses to me, I wouldn't draw them in if I were you.

I thought as much. But his eyes....Oh lawd....He looks completely boggled, bless him. I've drawn them in because the aim is photo realism. I kind of like the fact that he looks as stoned as a Rodin sculpture, though. More humanity in my drawing then.
