I love "Come Out To Play" and was just thinking about it the other day. I think it would work really well as a duet between a female and a male singer. (Think Christine and Stevie Winwood on "One In a Million.") The lyrics are ambivalent about whether the two people are going to "stay sister and brother" or if there is more in store for them. Alternating singers could alternate the lines expressing each point of view, and it would wind up telling a story about a tug-of-war in a developing relationship.
Can you just imagine the reaction if Christine and Lindsey sang the song this way. The fans who love to speculate about who slept with whom would have some fun with that.

I guess I'm in the minority here- I don't think Come Out To Play is a great song. It's extremely dated sounding, and I'm glad it didn't make In The Meantime. To me, that album is pretty damned close to perfect as is.
