I just got a snow day from College, the same day I got my registration confirmed on the Ledge. Perfect timing

So I'm sat cuddled up in bed with Mirage on the turntable and my laptop.

we are having another snowstorm this morning~ to go w/ the 2 & a half feet of snow we already have~ school is closed & we are supposedto have blizzard conditions w/ below temps until next week~

London is grinding to a halt after getting about 10 inches (Everywhere else in the UK deals with it though

We've had several snowfalls and all we get is a dusting on top of a dusting. The most we have is maybe an inch but it's sticking around cause it's so damn cold. I wouldn't mind having all the snow you have, but I couldn't deal with your extreme cold.

tell, me the cold is brutal~ i am so thankful i wrk at home & only have to go out to check the mail & take out the trash~ my husband has to go out & drive to wrk in it tho~ & when my tire was flat it took 4 days for it to be repaired, the service station is so backed up~

i can't remember if i said earlier, that on christmas eve we got a horrible storm bringing in 14 inches or better, the winds were 50-60 miles per hour~ i rolled over about 2 am & noticed that the power must have flickered at one point & the clocks were blinking~ i got up & was watching the storm, it was like something out of a horror movie, when i saw 2 massive exsplosions outside my door~ the power lines had dropped~ we didn't have power or heat for about 2 hours~ thankfully it came back on & people including my brothers dug out to go on w/ their christmas holiday~ it was amazing watching on the news all the people helping each other dig out & get their cars out so people could get together~ people around here were truly in the christmas spirit~

the downside is my husband got frostbite on his pinky finger~ he shoveled in shifts & was bundled, but the weather was just too brutal, his finger turned black & swelled up 3 times it's size~ thankfully it is healing~ i was super freaked out about it~ all i could think of was this story my dad told me of a classmate of his, who was too cool to wear a hat over his fonzie hair & his ears were frostbitten so bad, they turned black & fell off

~ he took to wearing hats after that, not to stay warm, but to hide that he had no ears~ i cross my heart, that's a true story~

None of our snow has melted, but now, I consider this a bad thing.

I just won Bella Donna and The Wild Heart on eBay but we've not had post for days, so I might have to wait ages for them D:
