I also don't really like anything of hers on BTM or Time, though I don't actually own those so they've never had a chance to really grow on me. I guess I don't appreciate her as much without Lindsey. -Sonia

Sugar Daddy. The only time I ever listened to it straight through was on the day I bought the White Album. I just couldn't do it ever again!

Another vote for "Sugar Daddy". Can't stand "Don't Stop" anymore cuz everytime I hear it, I think of Clinton. There aren't too many of her songs that I don't like.

I was just searching for a thread about Wish You Were Here and stumbled across this one. I love Wish You Were Here and I find it so sad that it gets such a bad press- I was livid when the reviewer gave it a low rating in the recent Uncut music guide. For some people it may be a tad simplistic, fluffy and soppy. For me its an epic slow burner that builds to a crescendo and must rank as one of Fleetwood Mac's most romantic songs (she has a couple on Tusk that run it close). The last minute or so of instrumentation is powerful enough on its own. So I open this thread and lo and behold I read the opening post. What's wrong with the World? It's a fantastic, beautiful song. Let some love into your hearts people. To my other half: I love you so much dear. |

PS
In response to the actual opening question in this thread I'd like to say 'Save Me'. If we are talking strictly Rumours line-up though, I'd go for 'Sugar Daddy'. |

Has my opinion changed in 12.5 years?
Not really. "Sugar Daddy" is still my least favorite of Christine's 1975-87, 97output. Still, her covering Danny's "When You Say" is still the "WTF was she thinking" moment of all-time.

I wonder why I was "MissJanet" in 2003, but I still stand by "Mystified" as worst Christine song.
I do love "Sugar Daddy" |

Wow this is a horrible thread
Chris is the ultimate musical professional. She does not put out duds or music that is not good. That is a rare quality in a performer. She writes great songs, she sings great, and most times the music is pretty good too. But I wont chicken out. If I was forced to pick a song I would say Ricky. Its a Lindsey Buckingham solo sounding type song. Her lyrics and singing just don't go too much with that quirky modern sound Lindsey put out in the 1980's. Reading this thread was tough on me. Its so odd that many songs listed her are my all time Christine favorites.. Brown Eyes, Love in Store and Wish you were here.
