So far, we have a goodly number of folks signed up, but I'd totally love to see more join in, so if you haven't emailed me yet to take part in the gift-y exchange-y, please do so at ledgiesecretsanta at yahoo.com. All I need from you is a mailing address, where you're willing to send a gift, and any no-nos as far as other Ledgies you'd rather not be paired up with or similar. And, as I said before, your information will not be shared with anyone but the person assigned to send you a present.

Today is October 14th (for a few more hours, anyway), so I am going to set the end of signups for November 7th. Within a few days of that, I will be emailing everyone individually with their assigned person.

Then I think we'll have the due date for sending out said gifts set to be December 7th. That's long enough for everyone to get their shizz together, but still early enough to hopefully beat the annual post office holiday slow-down as well as not interfere with anyone's holiday plans.

Thanks to everyone that's already signed up, and for those of you that haven't, but want to, hurry up 'n email me already.

I think it would be good for everyone who signed up to post a little something about their Fleetwood Mac taste (although I trust Annie on matching) but someone like me who is still a "senior ledgie" and doesn't know everyone well is going to have a harder time with the selection/creation process (and I'm going to aim to please damnit) . I don't want to send a skirt to an antichiffon head or someone who's already over chiffoned. I'd want to make sure they got the leg warmers. Not that I actually sew or anything . ahem.

As for the asking about shows part - I totally understand the idea wanting to give someone something they don't have yet, BUT this is Secret Santa, emphasis on the Secret, so if you ask beforehand, then they'll not only not be surprised at their gift, but they also won't be surprised at who sent it.

Perhaps if you just collected your favorites with a little note about why they're your favorites? "Here's a live recording of my first ever Stevie/Lindsey/Mac show - my fav moment was when Stevie pitched head first off the stage whilst trying to collect yet another stuffed Snoopy" or "This is from that one show where Lindsey tore his rotator cuff whilst banging furiously on Mick's cymbal at the end of GYOW" or even just "yo dawg i herd u like fleetwood mac, so I put some fleetwood mac in ur fleetwood mac so you can twirl while you twirl."

That is a good idea - I'd already suggested naming your favorite Mac member in the emails to me, so folks would have a bit more inspiration for good gifties, but we can do this, too. Y'all can email this info to me, too, or just post it here.
