I'll concede that God Only Knows is good. The rest must be flushed. Take Jan and Dean with them as well.

"Wonderful Christmas Time" by Paul McCartney on neverending repeat.

Everytime I hear that song it makes me want to hurt somebody.

Whoever posted 'Ebony and Ivory'-- thank you so much. It brings back such horrid memories for me, what crap. I believe the hugeness of it on radio essentially killed future airplay for both McCartney and Wonder, though that may be incorrect. Let's just say it deserved to!
Oh, I have a few more songs that would be my personal Hell- 'you are the sun, you are the rain, blah blah, blah blah' by Lionel Richie. I'd never felt so disillusioned about pop music in my young life. Is radio insane? Is the American public that stupid?
My, how that song offended me!
Then, Richie had 'Dancing On The Ceiling' and I think that pretty much did him in, people started to get how truly awful his artistry had become.
To go way back to the 70's, 'once, twice, three times a lady' -- what the hell is that? Sounds like a diagnosis from a gynecologist, or a potential theme song for a weight loss clinic.
Nice melody and some good backup harmonies by The Commodores, but that chorus, were they 'scratch lyrics' he just decided not to finish?

I just had this conversation over a campfire last night with some friends.

I said: "My personal version of hell is being locked in a small room with Bjork playing non-stop, and spiders crawling all over the place."

Bjork makes me seriously want to stab a pencil through my neck over and over until I fall down dead. Any song - doesn't matter - her speaking voice alone drives me to fits.

What i meant was that since you chose a song by Meat Loaf, it was a play on words.

Guns n Roses
New Kids On the Block
Joe Jackson: Stepping Out (I like his other songs, but something about that song makes me feel panicky!)
Starland Vocal Band: Afternoon Delight (that song gets on my last nerve)
Almost any country music!

I just want you to know that I actually read this last night, but I had to wait til now to respond because the urge to type something really inappropriate regarding who would come up with a name like Cherry Poppin' Daddies (yes, it is at least as bad as you are thinking, probably moreso) was too strong.

I still want to type it. But I won't. I'm a pillar of restraint.

All the same, baby. All the same.

Say what? Fidy is the sh*t! (Especially 21 Questions and Hate it or Love it)

Anything from BTM can be added to that...
Okay, okay, okay. I admit, I can listen to 21 questions. I forgot that song existed. However, most of his other music, not so much. And it isn't his music that kills me so much as he himself does. And I disagree on BTM! Skies the Limit and Freedom are both pretty good!

Every song to hit Number 1 on the Billboard 100 since 1988, played in an endless loop. On the weekends, they can play The Four Season's entire discography with the treble cranked up to maximum.
