15! (And angsty!)

Please, please, please, let the angst go away the second I turn 20! Or sooner, sooner would be better.

Forget the bullsh*t society fills you up on about age. You're still just a baby, trust me on that. I do wish looking back I could have enjoyed the ride of my 20s more worrying less and having faith that things would work out. They did for the most part so most worrying is fruitless. Hell all worrying is fruitless since it has no impact on the outcome. I also wish I spent more time doing what I WANTED to do and less time trying to figure out what I SHOULD do. Identifying what you want, what your passions are and going after them, really is what's important IMO. Plus being kind to your fellow man along the way.

I'm 38 but fly under the radar a bit passing for 25-29. Most people seem to forget my age even when I tell them. I guess I am also immature, or "youthful" in attitude to put it more graciously.

I was born when there still were THREE major league baseball teams in NY and only 8 teams in each league. The Dodgers were reigning World Champions. There wasn't a major league team west of Kansas City (and even at that, the A's only had been in Kansas City for about a year), not even one in Texas. The Braves would still in Milwaukee for another 10 years. The San Diego Padres & Los Angeles Angels were Triple A farm teams in the PCL...still a long ways away from being major league teams.

The NBA only had 8 teams TOTAL...4 in the East (Boston Celtics, Syracuse Nationals, Philadelphia Warriors, New York Knicks), 4 in the West (Minneapolis Lakers, Ft Wayne Pistons, Rochester Royals, St. Louis Hawks)

I was born 470 days before John Lennon met Paul McCartney. 27 days before Grace Kelly became "Princess Grace" and married Prince Ranier of Monaco.

Dwight Eisenhower was elected POTUS for a second term later that year.

I share my birthday with:

Chico Marx
Marcel Marceau
Louis L'Amour
Karl Malden
William Shatner
Lena Olin
Matthew Modine
Reese Witherspoon
Bob Costas
Brian Shaw
Marcus Camby
George Benson
Stephen Sondheim
Andrew Lloyd Webber
Keith Relf
DavidMN
p90pup

Oh, and once again, David is overexaggerating his age...by about 15-20 years.

I hear you on the worrying! I think it's the fact I'm not longer a kid anymore and the responsibilities that are looming ahead that are freaking me out. What really gets to me is the idea there is a 'right' age to do things, such as have your first serious relationhsip, move out etc. That's such crap.

I thought you were a lot younger, nothing to do with personality, but from your pictures I thought you were 25-30ish. I don't think anyone reading the first part of your post could say you have an immature attitude.

Well, you haven't graduated from university yet so you are still a kid. Most people see kids your age as kids. Except people your age and younger.

Check's in the mail

I'm another in the 30 club or as Suze suggested to Brandon - 10 years old.

I enjoyed my teens and early twenties at college but real life is a lot more fun!
