The intensity nnon suprised, how maaizing GDW was suprised me, Stand Back suprised me cause believe it or not it was never a REAL favorite live but on DVD it cam alive.

BUT the biggest suprise was none of those. Becuase all I already liked all those live already. The one song I always thought was the absolute worst live song was Say Goodbye. But it was my big suprise on the DVD. I really enjoyed SG. I think it's hard to like live especially where I sat in Buffalo and Toronto to the sides of Stevie, to like it. But on DVD the camera does all the work for you, catching perfect angles, and really the song being so quiet makes it hard to enjoy live, but at home sitting a foot from your TV (I know bad for eyes but get off me ) it comes alive

I can't quite narrow this down to one....sorry..
Things I was most surprised by:
1. ....How great Never Going Back Again sounded....
2. ....the strut and look Lindsey does before I'm So Afraid...
3. ....Say Goodbye...in the concerts I attended I could barely make out Stevie singing..but the DVD captured it well...plus I enjoyed the slower pace of the song better than the album cut....

I think SG is by-far the best performance on the DVD (comparing everything to in person). I've found that it becomes muffled live, especially because it's so quietly performed and most people begin talking during it and/or leaving for bathroom breaks. It's right in the middle of the show and that's when audience members start losing steam. I've enjoyed it live every time, but not to the extent the DVD brings. Just beautiful harmonies, beautiful interaction between the two of them and perfect mix of the guitar/vocals. I personally think that the song would be a phenomenal closer after watching the DVD.

As for my biggest surprise... lol I guess how routine the guestures are for the band. It's nice to see them interact, but they do the same stuff EVERY TIME! I was hopin' to see something new. No complaints, though. I guess you have to stick with what works

It's amazing that Lindsey hasn't poked an eye out with that cable-swinging in "Tusk"...Mick's spitting hurts more people in the audience than that.

"Say Goodbye"...are you sure that was a problem? It's had quiet parts at every show I've seen, due to Stevie and Lindsey simply singing and playing quieter, and I love what it brings to the song.

I was at Both Boston Concerts, and during the first night it was stated that it was for band close ups and some shots in the audience, like the side shots, to show there were people there. they did shoot the audience down front also, and the crowd was hopping all night .. they did also take footage from the second night to show there was a full house. but the editing of the audience shots was taken from different songs and mixed into the final arrangement . the crowd was loud, but on the dvd , they did not leave it in, they toned it down, as for people down front on the 23rd, they were nuts, no one cared they were being filmed, i sure didnt,. it was a great show and the dvd is good, glad we have it. beautiful child was great, it should of been on the cd, stand back , fantastic, say goodbye, was sweet, come, outstanding.

My favorite song was "I'm So Afraid". Lindsey's performance on this is much better then on the Mirage and Dance shows. He added quite a few extra wrinkles on the guitar solo. I wish Stevie had worn her boots during the whole show since it was being taped. She had worn them for entire concerts earlier on the tour, so why not for this special show? Her "Stand Back" song was great. Those are my two highlights.

Exactly.

Arrow The thing I love...

I was surpsrised at how real it was. After watching The Dance, people will know that THIS is what a real concert is supposed to be like!! Standing up, jumping, clapping, singing along, being excited, etc....not acting like you're at a golf tournament with the polite claps.
