![]() I was just watching Tab Hunter Confidential. Tab said that he recorded “Young Love” for Dot Records, while he was signed to a movie contract with Warner Brothers.
The record went to number one. Jack Warner had a fit. He told Tab Hunter that he belonged to him and was not allowed to work for anyone else. Tab said, “but Mr. Warner, you don’t have a record company.” Warner answered, “ I do now.” And that’s how Warner Bros. Music was formed. |
