This seems the most poignant of his songs at the moment. He sounded a bit choked on the line "I'm never going back again".

Do we see a message in his choice of songs? Wasn't it Shut Us Down, Trouble, and Never Going Back Again?
just the titles alone send a sort of message.....

if you wanna see a message you can, but judging by the short acoustic sets he did at other events that's usually his choice of songs. he did songs that people either know or show off his prowess (SUD). plus other than Big Love, the other 3 songs were opening of BuckVie tour set.

I know the tickets were sold out. The exact amount I do not know. It was at a house though (albeit probably a big, nice house), so I assume it probably couldn't fit THAT many people.

"Break the silence" --> Silence broken!

He didn't give a play by play rundown of what went down over 'the past three months,' but watching this video where he tells his spin on it in his own words and in his cogent and poised way was very cathartic for me. Thank you for posting these.

I love Lindsey and I say this statement with love...
...he really doesn't have room to talk about raising above anything when he ditched his band in 1987 and left the rest of the members to try and carry on without him before a big tour after a successful album. It's sad that this situation has come about, but we still don't really know what happened other than what has been said by the actual people who are living through it...and we don't really know how honest they are being about their statements either. Everyone else just makes gossip and assumptions around what is being said, and I think it's childish. Everybody is busy dogging on the rest of the band, but it's not to say that he doesn't have a fault in here somehow for it to be such a huge fallout. Anything that is being said should be taken with a grain of salt. Beyond that, I think he sounded great and I would even be willing to see a solo show of his if he comes to my area. Just my 2 cents and that's what it is. |
