It is... in my case I didn't even get one though... my grandparents decided to put down and cremate mine as I slept.

I'm so sorry about your dog, John. God, the torment I went through, with mine(he had cancer, and died, 4 years ago. If you search the "Pet Thread" on here, his almost two year battle, is well documented). For me, I didn't make the decision to euthanize, until I knew he was in pain. We did radiation and chemo, for almost two years, and even an experimental vaccine(which came along too late).....but it wasn't until he cried all night, one night, that I KNEW I couldn't let him live in pain. He was my baby, and I loved him more than anything in the world, but I couldn't let him suffer.

I hate that feeling. Sorry you're going through this. The day I had to put down my 18-year-old cat, I remember feeling very purposeful and I anticipated it as much as I loathed it. I realized that I was doing the right thing by letting go. It can be the ultimate act of kindness.

i was way more rebellious when i was your age, but now that i am older & a mommy, i chose to be more cautious because it isn't just about me anymore~

I have a friend who has an actual dance "routine" that she performs to this song any time she hears it. It is HILARIOUS.
