Silver Springs, from the Dance, pulled me in. I wouldn't say it was as lovey-dovey as it was intense/borderline pathologically scary. I knew NOTHING about Stevie-Lindsey's relationship at the time and thought...geez. Here be history. Or something. Maybe they were both in lockup together.
And it always cracks me up, at the end of this near-exorcism, when Stevie smiles sweetly and says "silver springs is a great old song," like she just finished Row, Row, Row Your Boat instead of this extraordinarily passionate thing.
I love that performance.

I have this extremely grainy boot of the Pittsburgh Dance concert which was a favorite. Probably wore that sucker out. Something was going on there, with either SS or Landslide, and I don't remember exactly what it was but I loved watching that thing. I remember my mom's comment about it being shot from a tv that still had rabbit ears antenna.

Pshaw. Chris & Linds didn't have no ship. They might have stuck their toe in the water, but ship? I think not.

Yeah, this prison is called Fleetwood Mac - you're only allowed out to do solo projects occasionally, and you are forced to sing break up songs with your ex for eternity! (I know I'd consider that hellish )

Haha thank you! I'm so glad I'm not the only one. It actually really frustrates me sometimes lol! *Woah Stevie, can you give me a minute, I need to digest what just happened here!* But nope, she's all intense one second and then chipper, nothing happened here, the next hehe - Stop deflecting the emotion of the song Stevie!

Well, I wasn't suggesting sexual, but you know . . .relationship. Mick eventually started kissing Lindsey almost every night he introduced Lindsey for the SYW tour and I kind of liked that too. I don't think I necessarily would have wanted Mick kissing Stevie, though.

That little thing Stevie does with Waddy and her shawl during GDW? I'd be sick to my stomach if she and Mick tried something like that.

I get slightly queasy when she does that with Waddy! But I feel your sentiments about Mick too I love you Mick! But, yeah it's weird.

oh they definitely had a chemistry, and i can't imagine with their crazy lifestyle and all the drugs and drinking that nothing ever happened there.

As far as famous Mirage moments go, the kiss he and Christine shared isn't exactly slouching.

Judging from their kiss during the US Festival and the only two shows I saw during that tour, I think they may have kissed most shows for that tour.

Is there a photo/video of this kiss? I was preoccupied with other things in that era and clearly missed some good stuff...

During the US Festival, they kissed during Tusk. I'm not sure when it was during the Mirage video. If I knew which song, I could probably point out the moment on Youtube somewhere.

ah... found a clip

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HwL8VYoNLI

kiss is around 4:54.

Seems kinda friendly. They certainly had some kind of silly chemistry going on during the song. Stevie seemed to stay somewhat remote, or hang by Mick.

It's less peck-like on the Mirage video, but I can't remember when in the concert it happens.
