Have a little faith in her and the others; they aren't on our time, they're on theirs.
I see no reason to have faith in Stevie considering she's the sole reason there has been no album since 2003. She has a history of not wanting to record with the band and only minimally contributed to the EP in 2013.

What's a color tour? And that's a long time in advance to plan a tour. Why wouldn't she have planned it for 2014? They knew before the end of the 2013 tour that Christine was returning. Also, she's the one who decided to quickly record a solo album knowing she wouldn't be able to promote it much. That's on her.

Now is the time to release with the tour fresh on everyone's mind. A cd/dvd is crucial I think right now if they want to cash in on it. I personally would love a dvd and live cd. There are no good versions that I have found of Sisters of the Moon, Gypsy, Little Lies or Sara.

They just added another LA show at the forum. So that's 4 shows. It's about cashing in now.

Well, it will be 5 shows altogether. Two now and three last year.

Why do they have to tour behind an album? Can't they just do it and move on.

i think that's their current plan - to just put the album out.

nobody from the band said they need to tour that new album, at least not recently.

All they had to do was delay the tour 3-5 months and they could have toured new music.

Yes indeed,I just read the Louisville show info here about they got hammered with the snow.

If it was a few years ago when we had a mild winter. The tour would be fine.
I'm worrying about everybodies safety.

I think Stevie probably seen to many snow covered hills with this tour.LOL...

Speaking about recording.I hope they wont tour winter months again unless they are promoting a new holiday album like Kenny Rogers ,TSO or Mannheim Steamroller does.

Yes, and no refunds. That's just cruel.

And, whether Stevie wants to recognize it or not, Fleetwood Mac is the band that keeps her being able to tour arenas. The fact is she can't do shows of that magnitude as a solo artist. Her not being in the band would be just as bad a career move for her as it would be for them.

Actually, maybe even worse. With all of the press/TV appearances she's done over the past five or so years, she's dangerously close to being overexposed. At least Christine's return to Fleetwood Mac adds some intrigue that solo Stevie no longer has.

and potentially release a major studio album.
"Major" being the operative word. At this point, though, there aren't too many older artists releasing major albums. They'd be better off going on a smaller, though notable label, i.e. Matador.

Like they did on "Time?"

So I was reading this, Stevie Nicks says solo career always came second to Fleetwood Mac, which was an interview she did with a radio station posted today.

Anyway, she mostly just talks about how in a way she enjoys going back and forth between FM and her solo career.

As of this point, I'm taking this as her subversively saying to us "I'm still going to do the FM album so just chill out and relax".

I don't know. Maybe she hasn't said anything recently because she wants it to be a surprise/have the biggest impact when she finally does announce she's written/recorded/is on board with the new FM record. *shrug*
