not to be a downer but I don't believe this has been really confirmed at all.

i think the only place it was mentioned was by Mick in that Maui interview where he said something like "most of the mac members" will go into the studio in march.

there was no official confirmation... their publicist confirmed Christine is back and mentioned there will be a tour announcement later this year, but she did not mention any album recording. then again we usually get official info from the mac way after the fact - official confirmation of the tour a week after some tickets already went on sale comes to mind.

You bring up a great point. And Lindsey even says they are not so good on the finer details of FM. I believe they are going into the studio because it was a Mick quote. Plus, the interviews all point there too.

Nah. He'll be there, if only right at the very beginning and right at the end. He'll do what he does, and then he'll go fishing.

I wouldn't be shocked if Stevie does a short solo tour, either as headliner or opener, this summer.
