Was this takin' on John's boat. A short story .We had boats in my family.My late step father, uncle and brother in law had a good size cabin cruisers back in the 1970's and early 80's.I had fun on it traveling up the Connecticut River and the LI sound and the Ocean..Since the wooden cruisers need a alot up keep and the cost of fuel .The twin screw" Two Engines " running at full bore have a major thirst of gas.My step dad sold it in the early 1980's and decide to travel on land with a good size Winnebago motorhome and see the beautiful country along with my mother.Around the same time my Step dad got rid of his cruiser .My Uncle and Brother in law sold theirs too.My biological dad and other uncles had speed boats around the same time.
