love this from wikipedia entry you posted "The Samantha Fox/Mick Fleetwood show proved to be the single most important event in BPI/Brit Awards history. It was perceived to be so disastrous that the British public's interest was revived and the BRITs became associated with risky live TV"

guess Mick can claim he did a favor to Brit Awards

Well the British public have always had a thing for car crash television. Probably explains the surprising success of Celebrity Big Brother, amongst other (washed up) celebrity based reality programs. If I were Mick, I still wouldn't be too proud of that program. Mind you, I'm sure he's at a place now where he can just laugh it off.

and not just british! car crash is perfect name for it (all one has to do is drive any highway around here, and experience traffic stopped in the lanes going the opposite way from where the car crash is, from rubbernecking) ... and hate to bring him up but look at another, latest example - all the stuff going on around charlie sheen.

Well, Sam Fox is still into "car crash" TV - she quite recently appeared on "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here".

She's had quite a chequered "career" - topless model, then (very bad) singer, then "got religion", and now resorts to reality TV.

The Brits with her and Mick still makes me cringe when I see clips of it.

The second shot reminds me of that Destiny Rules promo spot where Mick is unrolling the poster of the three Mac men. I think he hung it in the studio for those months that they were together while Stevie was on tour.
