She's probably pulling alittle more tix sales in with the Pretenders. This is giving the Pretenders fans a chance to go see them live and get a taste of Stevie at the same time.Stevie would have no problem filling these venues if by herself.I have to give her credit at the edge of 70 that she still going strong like a will maintained Mack truck.God bless her.

In regards to the negativity, I've now vowed to just keep posting on the Stevie board ONLY and stay away from the Rumours forum from here on out. You can't express any sort of opinion over there without someone jumping down your throat because of it.

Denver tonight!!! Can't wait!
I am so jealous. Enjoy yourself and keep us posted if anything changes!!

Since this tour is selling so well, why not add more shows. They need to expand it.

Yesterday I officially started worrying about getting good seats for my show (the last, 12/18 LA). I don't believe there's been any "ticket drops" so far. Unless anyone here has seen any?

Seconding this question... I have some tickets but I'm hoping better seats will turn up!

Would she really though? This is her first real arena tour since RAL. Since then her tours have mostly been mid-sized theatres with a few arenas here and there. I'd say The Pretenders are a big reason for the increase in venue size.

Jamie,

Tickets for the LA show are ridiculously priced. I bought my ticket the first day of presale and was hoping for a price drop so I could get a better seat. With the Pretenders audience and rave reviews Stevie has been getting, it might not happen (especially for the last show),

You might want to get something now (there were some for around $100) so you don't miss it.

Hope to see you there!

Barbara

Well I'm willing to spend up to 500 a seat, but I want them to be in the first seven rows, center section. That appears to be too little for LA, at least right now. I'll probably end up buying some StubHub tickets later after the prices fall down. It's truly amazing how ridiculous the prices are for LA versus for example today's show in Tampa there are tickets in the third row being sold for around 250!

I tend to agree. And I'm almost as excited to see them as Stevie. Well, not really LOL but I'm still excited. I was a big Pretenders fan back in the early 80's. Those songs, especially from Get Close, really bring back memories.

I'll make a private deal on my second row ticket to Sacramento. I can't afford to go to this thing, what was I thinking.

I think with the holidays in December, adding more dates would be impossible at this point, unless they waited until January to resume the tour.

I really wanted to get a VIP ticket for LA but they seem to have gone right into platinum/ resale market. Last time I looked, the front section was selling for over $1500/seat and they were in blocks of seats. Even the section where I'm sitting were being sold for over $500 so I guess I should feel fortunate but I've never been so far away for a FM or Stevie show before.

It is very frustrating seeing the disparity in availability and pricing. I could have bought second row center in Phoenix but couldn't get the time off from work. That show would have been so amazing--both because it was opening night but also because seeing her in AZ has always been special.

Plan B: maybe some of the Pretenders audience will leave after their show and we can move up?

I heard she did go back to Ohio, but her family was gone (sorry, I couldn't resist).

Mohegan Sun was completely sold out. There were at least 50 to 100 people waiting for some kind of ticket drop around 6:45pm. As far as I know nothing ever came up. The arena holds about 10,000. Even the staff seemed completely shocked on how many people were waiting in line. It was like this was the hottest show in town. For a moment I thought it was 1983 again.
This is a far cry from the tour with Don Henley where they were actually giving away tickets in Mansfield, MA. I'm not sure if the casino had any comp tickets. There was no line for the pickup window. Just a huge line to purchase them.
At the end of the show Stevie said that she would be back again because they always play here. Not sure if she meant solo or with Fleetwood Mac. She did extremely well with this show. I'm happy for her.
