I found this on FM News:

Mick Fleetwood's relationship w/ Stevie Nicks detailed in his NEW Autobiography by @HodderBooks and @littlebrown

The full and intimate autobiography of the legendary Mick Fleetwood:
The only original remaining member of super group Fleetwood Mac. Fleetwood's book spans his chequered 40 year career as one of rock's greatest drummers and co-founder of the notorious group that bears his name. In this candid portrait of a life lived in music, Mick Fleetwood describes growing up in Cornwall, Egypt and Norway where his obsession with drumming began, to his early days as a musician in Sixties London gigging with the Yardbirds and learning the blues from John Mayall. Among other subjects, Mick's close relationship with George Harrison, his marriage to Jenny Boyd and his relationship with Stevie Nicks are revealed. Including behind-the-scenes moments from Fleetwood Mac's sell out 2013 tour, his memoir sheds new light on Fleetwood's history as well as personal insights from a man who has been a major player in blues and rock n' roll since his teens. Mick describes the multiple incarnations of Fleetwood Mac: the early successes, the creative collaborations and confrontations, the intense loves and destructive feuds. Drugs, bankruptcy, madness and heartbreak frequently threatened to end it all, but through sheer love and determination one of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time has endured.

In other words, an update or redux of the other book?

Yeah I wonder if he may have just written stuff from 1990 to now and it will tacked on to the old book?

I look forward to reading his book. Notice that his cover photo is from the then and not the now. Stevie is doing the same thing; her new album features an image of her taken in the mid-eighties. Seems the past is now the new future.

Not sure if everyone saw the pic. It's up on Mick's site:

Don't forget those series of newspapers articles Mick did recently. I think those will be incorporated into the book.

Arrow Excerpt from Mick's new book

Play On!

My other Mick book is at my parent's house, so I am not sure if this is an exact re-publish of what was in that book. Anyone have the other one handy and can check?

I would imagine this is all new stories and re-telling of his life, but no idea.

The book excerpt is new; I just checked my book from 1990. That book begins with his move from the Blue Whale house.

My hunch is that he wrote the new book with Anthony Bozza (the co-author) during last year's tour. If I remember correctly, his most recent wife filed for divorce just as the 2013 tour began.

According to this site:
https://hodderbooks.co-buying.com/co...re-order-event

Everyone buying the book (up to 500) will get their copy signed and one person will get flown 2 Washington DC to meet Mick and see FM in concert.

They say they are the offer platform that Hodder Books and MF have chosen to use. The offer will run until Monday of next week and is only available for UK customers.

Thanks for posting this link, Michele. Looks like I'm getting a signed copy!!! Also: the more people who buy, the better the price. It'd be great if everyone here joined in so we can get the best price - any chance we can sticky this until it closes on Monday?!

BTW, is someone here topping the leaderboard? I'd LOVE to win that trip to America to meet Mick

Ooooh, update! Just got an email explaining that they're lowering their price for this to match Amazon's. So, now it's as low as £10 for a SIGNED COPY as long as enough people buy. So get in, everyone!

It's great isn't it!

I'm going to wait until the price drops to £11 to place my order.

Surprisingly there hasn't been as much demand as I thought.

Needs to be done before 11:59!

Anyone in the UK on here, a) buy it, or if you don't want to, share it with your Mac friends!
