I love Glen Campbell .To bad he's ill with all timers.
I'm old school and want the actual ticket not something I printed out. If you get regular old school tickets the shipping is free (or pick up at will call if you don't order them in time) and you have something to hold on to.

Yes I'm the same way.I want the actual ticket .Not the paper printout.I do the "Will call" thing when its a emergency or last minute deal.

I have done "Will Call" at the Mohegan Sun and other venues for Stevie/FM and other artists over the years.

I would not trust the printout tix from a scalper.He/she could make 10 copies and sell them and run out quick in a flash.

Only one will be good the other 9 will get rejected at the turnstiles.

I normally get the tickets sent to the house or will call.I knew walmart had ticketmaster outlet and its near my house and I wanted to make sure I have a ticket and glad I was able to get one cause I don't want to be waiting line at the box office like an hour or 2 hours before with lot of people trying to get a ticket.I am glad I am going can't wait.

Yes I agree on the wait at the bo office.Plus they could say they dont have anymore and you are out of luck unless somebody walking around just want to dump their tix at face value of catch a reasonable scalper .

I try to get up there at a decent time with my friends .He's got to do some work on Saturday before we head up there.I want get there early for i can chat with who ever that shows up from here and my friend probably go pull some levers on the slots before the show.

The Hour, April 20, 2013

Fleetwood Mac at Mohegan Sun

The legendary band Fleetwood Mac performed at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday and The Hour's John Nash was there to capture these images from the show.

Hi everyone. This is my very first post to the Ledge, though I've been lurking for a good many months now. One of the first records I bought was Rumours, not long after it first came out. I was 13 years old then. In those days, most of my listening consisted of hard rock, but even then, I was affected by the bewitching guile of this band. I am more, much more affected by it now.

I live in a suburb adjoining Boston, but was at Mohegan tonight. I live just across the river from Watertown, so the week was ... intense... as you might imagine. I'll be curious to see what other Ledgies thought of this show, because I have no point of comparison (this was my first FM show). I'll say this much: several times I choked up, quite unexpectedly. I was overwhelmed with -I don't even know how to describe it- a kind of intense gratitude for the beauty these people have been creating and sharing with us all these years.

I will also say this: I had some trepidation going into the show, insofar as I feared that FM would show up uninspired (as some long-standing acts can be), manifestly going through the motions in order to cash in. After tonight I can say with confidence: not. one. bit. Far from jaded performers, what I saw were artists who still loved what they were doing every bit as much as we. I attend my fair share of rock shows, but I don't recall seeing a musician who smiled as much as Stevie did tonight. The others, each in their own way, also seemed to revel in the music. It was great to see.

There's a lot more I'd like to say about the show but I'm tired and I've already blabbed enough, for a first post especially. Good night for now.

nice! thanks for the post! great to see people on a fan forum who actually appreciate the band, instead of nit-picking their every move/decision/action. glad you enjoyed it.

Great show at Mohegan Sun. The band was in tip top form. Even John McVie played with gusto especially when they featured him under a spotlight. I think this was one of the more animated shows I've seen since the Dance tour. Stevie's voice was good too (I noticed how her voice had improved on the In Your Dreams tour.) She frequently broke out in smiles in response to thunderous applause from the audience or loud sing-a-longs. She commented after Landslide, " you sing really well! It's like singing with the Tabernacle choir!" Lindsey's guitar was on fire. They had a big screen behind him that zoomed in to show his fingers work that guitar ...awesome. Lindsey's banter was rehearsed and esoteric while Stevie's appeared casual and engaging.
I loved the new and new/old songs and the seldom heard gems they sang this time. I have a scratchy throat this morning from singing along with the hits (maybe it is from the smoke in the casino, but I think I'll blame it on my singing).
One more observation, Stevie wore an insanely beautiful diamond necklace instead of the moon necklace. I'm sure there will be pictures of it on line.
Fun Night!
