Okay, so Rick's material is not considered new?? It's a tribute to the music of the original Mac, are they supposed to ignore the old material?? That makes no sense. If it's a tribute, then the original material has to be covered or where does the tribute come in?? I'm confused, but hey, that's just me.

Why not????? So much potential that was never realised...

Bekka absolutely had and has potential. She was awesome with The Zoo, sounded pretty good on "Time", but that whole incarnation of FM just didn't really come together for me. It was Mac, but kind of a "place holder" Mac in my opinion. I don't think it was given the chance it could have had by Mick, John and Christine. It just never captured the fans in my opinion and so it was quickly ended. I think Bekka could do very well, either as a solo artist or as part of group but I just don't know if she'd fit either the MFBB or a stripped down blues reincarnation of Mac.

Lola was amazing on that album, and I think it is a real shame that the album was pretty much ignored by the Mac community, and that Lola didn't go on to make more of a career.

I wholeheartedly agree!!!!!!!!!! Any idea what ever happened to her?

Do a search of old posts, I know this was discussed in a previous thread but I can't remember what the conclusion was. I seem to remember she gave up music stardom to be a mother?

I get so confused with all these "what happened to..." threads
