Cute thread.

So... were they separated at birth, or what?

Yes. We're normal people like you, we just don't like muppets much, or think they're very funny.

I was told that he was based on Mick...they're all bases on real musicians...from what I was told when younger.....but yeah - I don't know the actual truth behind that

My friend, who is a Muppet FREAK told me that Animal's based on the drummer of The Who, if I remember correctly. Although I swore he was Mick too - those bug eyes and gaping mouth, it's too close for coincidence :-)

From that face he seems more like Moon The Loon to me.

How clever! I actually like the Muppets but you couldn't have done better in matching them to Mac members. Who would have ever thought Lindsey would be associated with a frog though?

I always thought that Lindsey's hair and skinny figure matches up with Beaker pretty well But since he tends to be the leader of the group, Kermit is the way to go.

Speaking of Kermit -- and this is pretty random... but if you listen to the Anaheim Say You Will show, after "The Chain" Stevie welcomes the crowd. And I always swore she sounds just like Kermit the Frog when she does. (reminded me of when he goes 'welcome to the MUPPET show YAAAEEYYY!!').
