Advice, Please?

In a perfect world your friend would be happy for you and she would be happy...however it doesn't always work like that. I think you have to follow your heart on this one...talk to your friend but at the end of the day it is very important to make yourself happy.
You have to try and see it as how your friend give this guy up...she really should try and be happy for you if something was to happen. She maybe a little put off by it, but using the expression we have you should always "pick mates before dates" and it isn't so much not going out with someone because they don't approve but not letting that relationship get in the way.

Talk to your friend first, I have had friends who would've "killed" me, and others who didn't give a rats A**. I'm probably the second type, but as many have said if she is in love with her fiancee it shouldn't matter, and if you are really good friends she should understand. On another level you should also want to make sure he is totally over her...ie not to many questions about how your friend is doing...Just watch your step this is one of those delightful situations where you can lose it all and walk away with nothing...
