People, people, people!

Don't you know that the best site to buy and pre-order music is http://www.deepdiscountcd.com ???

It's always free shipping on no matter what you buy or pre-order and I got all three for around $40.

Check it out!

Thumbs up Well...

As I stated earlier they have a history of problems with shipping orders (Especially with back orders...Which they are notorious for moreso than with shipping new releases.), I guess I should have been more clear in my post.

They are cheap though, I will give 'em that much...

Well, I didn't order the cds because I wanted them in my hot little hand on the day of issue...so here I am, two hours, four stores, and $59.77 poorer, and I finally have them in hand.

First stop: Best Buy. Not on the shelf, so I ask for help. They check the computer. Yeah, they have them. So they go check "in the back." I wait and wait and wait. And finally, the guy comes back: they can't find them!!

Next stop: Target. (Had to go there anyway) No luck.

Next stop: Circuit City. Found one copy of the white album and one copy of Rumours. One of each! No Tusk. So I go to the checkout to buy the two and ask about Tusk. Computer shows 0 copies in stock. Go out to my car and insert the cd right into my arm.

Next stop: Wal-Mart. Found all three. Didn't look at prices on the two I had already opened. Bought Tusk.

Grand total: $59.77 plus gas and time.

Question I noticed that...

most stores are not receiving copies of Tusk and/or the Rumours remasters for some odd reason, Could it be because they had a hard time selling the VBOFM & SYW?? (There are ton of these shelve warmers still available) Makes ya wonder...

I've never pre-ordered from them before, so I hope they're okay.

Exclamation I was tempted...

to pre-order from 'em, but after doing some research on the reliability (A great place to do some price-checking & background research is http://www.pricegrabber.com) I saw that deepdiscountcd had more complaints than most of the other music retail websites I deal with on a regular basis...Especially when dealing with back orders & communication/customer service.

Just be patient, they may be reliable with pre-orders of new items.

ps-Here is a link to reviews of customer purchases for ddc through Pricegrabber:

You have me worried. I ordered the CDs over two weeks ago and they still ahven't shipped, even though they said that they would ship last week.

Oh well, if that place is any good, I'll let you know.

Best Buy told me they shipped a week before the 23rd. They lied. They didn't ship until the 23rd.
Total cost? Tusk was $13.99 (free shipping) from Best Buy.
Rumours and White were $32.97 with shipping, from CD Universe, sooooo,
$46.96 total for all three.
