I love the acoustic version too. Her keyboard is front & center. But, I love the album version just as much.

I agree. When I downloaded the acoustic version, it wound up ahead of the album version in my library, so I heard them back to back. They're both great.

No, I don't think I ever said that. Patton does get a writing credit on the song, alongwith Chris, Dan Perfect & George Hawkins. I've never heard what each one of the four contributed to the song. In my opinion, those lyrics sound like Christine McVie lyrics. I suspect Chris was mostly responsible for the song with the other three adding a little here and there. Once again, this is something I would have liked to have asked Chris in that Q & A.
