Exclamation Federal...

prisons are more laxed than compared to a state ran prison...That is why people say "Federal prison is like a country club".

she is strong enough to handle 5 months in Federal easily...The 5 months house-arrest with conditions is actually the thing that will drive her nuts.

I agree, I mean, seriously, there's people out there doing crap that makes Martha's case and others like it seem meaningless. The whole problem here is the media flood...

Bush dumped about $850,000 in Harken Energy stock right before that company imploded without anyone so much as raising an eyebrow.

And look how long it took for the feds to indict Kenny-boy Lay--Shrubbie's good buddy & heavy repug campaign donator. Hmm. . . . Martha screwed her ownself out of millions while Ken Lay screwed millions out of millions. She's arrested, tried, and convincted in less time than it took them to get around to even indicting Ken Lay. Now just wonder why that is exactly?

Good god, she's not going to prison, people.

She's been granted a stay, meaning that she won't have to even begin her five months in jail until ALL of her appeals are exhausted. And she will be granted a new trial. The charge of her trying to pull a fast one on her stockholders by proclaiming her innocence publicly was thrown out by the judge, but only at the end of the trial before the jury deliberated. That means that the prosecutors still presented all of the evidence pertaining to that charge, and it was even in their opening and closing statements. That alone is enough to warrant a new trial, but add to that the fact that one of the governments witness is being prosecuted for perjury when he testified and the most outspoken juror lied to get on the jury.

ALSO - during the five months of house arrest, the judge ruled that she will not have to wear an alarm and that she can work five days a week.

Martha's fine.

It doesn't matter whether or not she's going...and she certainly should not and I don't think she will...It's more so the fact that she had to go through all of this BS to begin with.

I agree. It was a witch hunt from the beginning and everyone knows it.
