Duo that I'm doing sound for, RIGHT NOW, is doing Landslide. Just finishing the first verse.

Just thought I'd share

well, today in my English class, my teacher chose my essay on "Music from the past is better" for our internet discussion...

Well, about 10 seconds in, people were disagreeing, so...
I embedded a youtube vid.

THE WHOLE CLASS LISTENED TO ROSEBUD RHIANNON!

Best. English. Class. Ever.

It was delectable. It was a pretty simple meal, along with the snapper just
some quartered red potatos in butter (and a few other ingredients). Then
to make sure it was kept Southern - I ate white bread with it. You have to
have white bread with fish in Bama.

Your meal sounds good too. How about a deal? I cook for you, you cook
for me. Maybe we can do it at the commune in '11.

Cool Well...

today was a hoot. Had to drive for drug testing (Urinalysis and Hair follicle) and it rained the heaviest I can ever recall it raining...I had to pull my gunboat off the road because it was absolutely impossible to see.

Once I arrived at the facility, it quit raining - but as soon as I was back behind the wheel the same heavy beyond heavy rains came. Weird.

Sadly, the hair cut for the testing wasn't the grey hair I asked 'em to cut....!@#$%^&*

Nah, that would've been my 12th grade English Literature class at Muskogee High School, where we watched a movie version of "Romeo & Juliet" that was rather 'pornographic' - Gee, I guess that was the late 80's approach to sex ed (But in an English class setting).

Oddly, I enjoyed having a test in that same class over the poem "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" by Samuel Taylor Coleridge since Iron Maiden did a 13 minute epic song version of the poem, so I used my memory of the song lyrics to destroy that test - and people think 'metal' is for the unintelligent

Every Friday is weigh in day. I have now lost 21 lbs. since July 4th, and I'm far from done.

I remember that movie! Our teacher fast-forwarded through the naked bits, but we all knew what was up.

And well-done re: Ancient Mariner.

Imagine my shock, I thought I was in the 'what did you have for dinner thread'- but I wasn't. I was confused because a couple messages earlier in this thread, I read:

I guess the only thing that would have made it better is if all you
Ledgies were sitting around the table enjoying it with me.

Cheers.

to which Jannie replied:

Anyway, tilthefirefades, I'm glad you have a new pet and I'm really glad it wasn't for dinner! Now I'll go check out the food thread!
