^You guys are hilarious. I looked at Yahoo and none of them were trending. But I assume they were talking about Christine trending, because the news about her willingness to return is in all the news clippings.

I really hope this is all true. I loved Christine. I loved watching Stevie dance and play tambourine to her songs. She always seemed to be the wise owl watching the whole spectacle on stage and I adore her dry wit humor. Love her songs. The thought of her singing Songbird at the end of the concerts is thrilling

Christine is trending at number one on Yahoo this morning. I hope this works out. Could be a huge tour next year depending on how everything goes with Johns treatment.

It's interesting how before London, Christine made Mick promise to stop asking her to rejoin the band. Now afterwards, she's telling the press how she's simply waiting to be asked to rejoin. Lady has some control issues!

And I don't know of too many fans who would prefer her not to be there.

I guess I'm only a Buckingham Nicks fan. I got used to nine or ten Stevie songs and nine or ten Lindsey songs in a set. I can't think of a single "life is so wonderful, ... happy, happy, happy" Christine song I would rather hear in place of a song from Buckingham or Nicks. Now, Stevie's and Lindsey's songs in the live set will be even more set in stone with no additional goodies thrown in. It will be Rhiannon, Landslide, Dreams, Gold Dust Woman, Gypsy, Stand Back, and I'm So Afraid, Second Hand News, Never Going Back Again, Go Your Own Way, Tusk, and Big Love, and nothing else. Instead of anything else from them, there will be five or six of the "Polyanna", "I'm so in love and life is perfect and nothing is ever wrong and I'm basking in the afterglow" songs. Ugh. I saw Christine in 1982, 1987, 1990, and 1997, and multiple times on each of those tours, so I'm good.

I'm only talking about me here, I am not trying to open a can of worms. I happen to need angst in my music. But that's just me; we all listen for our own reasons. And we all have the band members and songwriters that we prefer.

Well then what it sounds like you are saying is you don't REALLY actually NEED to go see Fleetwood Mac anymore.

Some, or many, of us did not become fans until the Dance era. I was 17 in 1997 and not allowed to go see Fleetwood Mac all by myself. I have seen "Buckingham Nicks" since, sans Christine a couple times, and Stevie solo several times. I don't care for LB's solo stuff and most of his deeper cuts from FM annoy me anyhow.

If you want special gems from either Stevie or LB, see them solo! From a budget standpoint it just makes more sense. I for one would LOVE to see Fleetwood Mac with Christine and I am prepared to spend a lot for such a tour AND album. Christine wrote most the FM hits they ever had.

Just read the article and a friend pointed it out to me at work last night.

I'm thrilled at the possibility!! I honestly can't believe that Mick is not doing cartwheels in front of the restaurant!! If he hasn't already sealed the deal with her, then he needs to get off his arse and get it done NOW!!!!

There is no better time than this. From what I read on this forum, there seems to be plenty of musical material to warrant an album (with contributions from Christine, Stevie and Lindsey), there would be a huge buzz for a tour in support of it, God knows we fans would jump at an album and tour. The only problem I see, sadly, is John's health. Hopefully, (and honestly quite selfishly for us fans), everything works out for the best for John and he recovers well and quickly and wants to get back on the road.

We will all have to just wait patiently and see what happens.
