There's also a great musical history (Not just country) in Nashville and from the south in general...Most of the of the blues that influenced the British blues bands of the 60's and probably FM as well came from the south...If and I say if anything FM related is taking place in Nashville it would almost be like they are going full circle...Or as Lindsey would say "It's so circular"

A country Album is on the cards for The Mac, that's why they are in Nashville.
I love to see that.Wow FM on the Grand Ole Opry.

I'm glad to see some action with maybe some recording going on.

Nashville has a very diverse music scene, it's not just country there.

bunch of older rockers who had enough of LA or don''t want to ramie their kids in that environment have moved to Nashville, too.

I bet Stevie is only going to record if Dave S produces her tracks. But why is Waddy going? Is she refusing to even let Lindsey play on her tracks? WTF is going on? Very interesting. I love how Dave S said "wonder why" HA

I posed that very question in the "Nashville" thread...You have to love Dave's cryptic tweets...

What success with Lady A.? She recorded a song that was just released that hasn't proved itself in sales yet or airplay.

Yeah, Paul's pretty consistent on the recording and touring front. This covers the same period of time since Fleetwood Mac reunited in 1997. Pretty sure he's played shows every year but didn't do a proper tour until 2002, and then took a break in 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2013, bar a few select shows around the world.

1997 (Flaming Pie)
1997 (Standing Stone - classical)
1998 (Rushes - as The Fireman)
1999 (Working Classical - classical, Run Devil Run)
2000 (Liverpool Sound Collage)
2001 (Driving Rain)
2002 (Back In The US - live)
2005 (Chaos and Creation in the Backyard)
2005 (Twin Freaks - collab. with DJ Freelance Hellraiser)
2006 (Ecce Cor Meum - classical)
2007 (Memory Almost Full)
2009 (Good Evening NYC - live)
2009 (Electric Arguments - as The Fireman)
2010 (Ocean's Kingdom - classical)
2012 (Kisses On The Bottom)
2013 (NEW)

So, yeah, he released an album only last year, lol. Did fairly well critically (averaged around 4/5 on the metacritic aggregate) and did a decent job commercially (peaked at #3 on Billboard and stayed on the chart for 14 weeks). And I just realised how much of a life I don't have - only thing I needed to Google was how long New was actually on the chart... #unapologeticpaulfan

Ahem. And back to Fleetwood Mac...
