I actually did go to a couple Al-anon meetings that they had in my High School, but other than that no. I know they have alanon meetings at the convent for the church I work for since every Saturday someone would come over for the key for the meeting, but idk if they have it there anymore. I think I cope with it pretty well, WAAAY better then I did before. Talking about it really helps.

Idk i might try to go one day.

JTIS I have a summer cold. I was hoping it was just allergies at first, but no. Actually sick. I hope it goes away in time for Friday, because Cute Guitar Boy's band is playing both nights of a weekend-long outdoor metal festival, and wants me to come along. And that means camping. Camping + August heat in Saint Louis + summer cold = WAHHHHHH.

I HATE summer colds!! Mostly because they are really random! Like why would you get a cold in the middle of summer?!?! LOL I hope your feeling better for the concert ur going to!!

JTIS that I worked today 1-5 and then Ashley picked me up cuz my mom was working at Applebees tonight. I hung out w/ her family at her Nonna's house. They are SO nice I just love them! Pretty sure their more like family to me than my own...well other than my uncle AL and my grandmother on my moms side =P

Going to Boston Tuesday for a Ghost Tour thing, which should be WICKED fun!

I so second this. I've been to a handful of Al-anon meetings and it is SO interesting to hear from other people about their experiences. Also, you'll be amazed at the age range of the members of your group... there were people in their sixties who were still working through their parents' drinking. You should try it-- I wish I kept going to meetings.

JTIS that my friends introduced me to Bare Minerals makeup last weekend and I'm loving it! I'm not knowledgeable at all about makeup and have never been interested in spending a lot of time on it, but this stuff is fantastic and I feel great wearing it.

Erm. So that doggie I inherited from my aunt? She just went into heat.

I have never had a dog in heat before, and I have no idea how to handle it. Anyone have any advice? Do they make Tampax for dogs? I don't want her bleeding all over my carpet and everything.

I am a bit freaked out by this, I must say.

I'd be freaked out too. My mum wanted me to get a little girle but I said no for that reason. I can cope with a hormonal male, I just feed him and tell him to stfu before putting him in the garden.

Can't you buy those little like, daiper thingies to stop them getting freaky with male dogs when they're out on walkies, I'd imagine putting some tissue in there would work?
