I doubt Ellen of all people will bring up Lindsey.

I don’t really know this show...but no ones feathers will be ruffled.
The band will perform two well known FM songs I think I previously said Don’t stop and Dreams, but no controversy will arise that’s for sure. No hard hitting questions will be asked. |

Ellen isn't on until 4 pm EST in my area. Is she on earlier anywhere else? Curious to hear some "early reactions."

So who had "The Chain" and "Gypsy" in the board pool???
I can't listen here at work yet. Looking forward to y'all's comments! |

Well The Chain was ok I think Stevie & Christine were too low in the mix. I thought Gypsy was better but Stevie needs to bring the energy or it's never going to work. I will be going to see them in Pittsburgh so I hope by Nov 1st they get it together.

Disappointment
Mike Campbell's guitar work sounds amazing but Neil Finn does not cut it in place of Lindsey. I am sad to say that the band looks tired and the energy is not the same. Stevie's vocals were weak. This breaks my heart!

Sounded really tight - Neil's vocals aren't as high as Lindsey's so they kind of get absorbed into Stevie's....still sounded okay though.
Campbell's playing was exactly what it needed to be, inspired even.....Mick/John sounded as good as ever. Christine's vocals were mixed a tad low.... I'm not going to pass judgement too much on this lineup until I see a full set... Really with that much talent on stage, it can't go too wrong. Would love to see them shake up the arrangements a bit - still in Dance 1997 mode. |

Glad the concert I'll be going to is a Lindsey Buckingham one.

Couldn't hear a note sung by Stevie or Christine during "The Chain" besides Stevie's outburst at 1:55. So "Neil Finn's Fleetwood Mac" is off to a good start, I guess.
They also cut the beautiful guitar solo at the end of "Gypsy," which has always been my favorite part. |

Broken Chain

John really came to the fore on The Chain (whether he liked it or not), but it was depressing and awkward when Stevie aimed all the 'never break the chain' theatrics at Mr. Neilson.

Yeah, I didn't hear Lindsey's "Lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice," but maybe this was a condensed version to fit into the TV time, and Neil will sing it on their tour.

Why TF is Mike playing keyboards on Gypsy? They definitely need more keyboard players on stage...
I HATE $tevie'$ singing on the bridge of Gypsy. I'd guess they dropped the guitar solo at the end, because Lindsey OWNS that f*cking solo. Anyone else playing it is a charlatan and a thief(yes, I realize it was probably dropped for TV time).

Well, needing to add TWO people to take Lindsey's place, I understand why they'd make it more "boy, girl, boy, girl".
