Unable to decide on just one of their favorite performances from last night, this week Supernova chose two encores. Lukas' vocally impressive rendition of Radiohead's "Creep" and Magni's emotional version of Live's "The Dolphin's Cry." Lukas further astounded, moving on stage and interacting with fans even more than last night. Magni also captivated, changing up his solo acoustic version by plugging into his electric guitar and rocking with the House Band. After these crowd pleasing performances, Brooke announced five of the Rockers who were at some point in the bottom three last night. Jill, Josh, Zayra, Ryan and Patrice were called. Dave was not surprised: "There's a lot of similar faces hovering in the bottom three...it's time to crank up the heat next time." The first Rocker announced was Jill. Belting out the soul classic "Respect," she was hoping to earn just that-- and to save herself, yet again, from elimination. Up next was Josh. Though his last performance caused Tommy to criticize the Rocker for strapping himself to his guitar and not showing his moves, he nevertheless sang Bad Company's "Shooting Star" with guitar in hand. Ryan was last. Rocking out Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence," he took on his first elimination performance with gusto. And that gusto saved him. But Josh and Jill? In a surprise turn, neither were safe. Before Tommy made the cut he announced: "This is going to be a first tonight. It's do or die. It's time to get this thing going...the axe is gonna fall twice." With that, both Jill and Josh were sent home. The exiting Rockers were gracious and confident and in the case of Josh, filled with good humor. Jason echoed a sentiment shared by many when he issued these parting words: "The spirit of each of you is going to be missed."

I didn't know anything about this show, but I saw the thread here, and was intrigued, so I looked at the website, and checked out the contestants. "Hey, I used to know a Storm, and there can't be many girls named Storm, right?"
Right. It is the same Storm who was my friend's housemate, back in '92. We had a lot of dinner parties, and she would come storming into the house with wild stories and a lot of energy. I came across a video of hers on public access about 8 years ago, and wasn't surprised to see her fronting a rock band, even though I had never heard her mention singing. Anyway, this is my long-winded way of saying that I am now interested in this show, and I have gone to the site, and looked at all of the archived performances.

^ That's pretty cool. Storm is second favorite female on the show. But Dilana is my goddess.

I haven't cared much for her song choices on the show, but I went and looked at some of the videos (youtube, of course) of her band in Portland, and those performances really impressed me! I think Dilana will win.

Indeed! I want to see a kick-ass Dilana performance. I haven't liked her song choices since "Time After Time".

Me too. I love Dilana but Storm's my second favorite. I loved her performance of "Anything, Anything." It was full of energy and intenseness.

Susan is her first name and Storm is her middle name. Large is her real last name.
