Well, 50 isn't that old, so it's not like Gramps would be a geezer. The age differences are all really close together, tho - they'd each had to have had a son while they were still in high school.

It's quite common for Latins to procreate in their teens.

No, I got that. I'm assuming you mean the guy would need "performance enhancing drugs" to stay up when a grizzly old man is in the room. And I was saying that a 50-year old is not a grizzly old man.

Is your man out of town again? Or did you scare him off with the Jelly C Ring?

I bought one of those a long time ago thinking it would be great. I didn't really care for it. It was awkward and it was too snug on my man.

I agree. The age isn't a factor in my original reply. Having your Dad and G'pa in the room very much is.

In the 21st century? My great-grandmother got married when she was 13, but that was almost 100 years ago, in the hills of North Carolina.

Well, I assume that anyone who'd be turned off by doing the nasty w/ dad & grandpa in the room wouldn't agree to such a thing in the first place.

I don't really know what's going on with him. We somewhat ended things on Sunday because he's not fully comfortable with my age, but he admitted that he was only uncomfortable because he hadn't seen me in a month and he doesn't think about it at all when we're together. He then said that he wants to hang out and see how he feels about it but for the meantime, we're apparently not together.

I don't get it. He literally told me that he's only ending it because the time we've spent away from each other has let him overanalyze the situation, and yet he's also said that he wants to remain friends, hang out and see what happens from there. Uh, what.

I think I know what's going to happen. We'll hang out, things will feel just like they did before, we'll start dating again and then he'll freak out next time we go a few weeks without seeing one another. It sucks because I saw something really special in him.

My entire life, I had never been broken up with. I've had long, awesome relationships with people that I'm still on good terms with, but I think I just never really let myself care in the way that you should in a legitimate relationship. So the fact that I've been "rejected" three times since December is really freaking me out... what's worse is these were the first three guys that I genuinely cared about and wanted to be with in a longterm sense. It's been a big blow for me, and I've felt really worthless lately.
