No, I never did. But in the city you don't even need that. The **** just collects on your sills and on fan blades. It is sooooo nasty!

Oh, I know. My heater used to be right next to my window, but I made the super move it elsewhere because birds would **** and if I had the window open, the heater would spray it all throughout the room.
