I know. What the hell was going on with his hair? Who let him go out there like that?

Diane Keaton looked great last night. As did Helen Mirren and the Dreamgirls. Penelope Cruz was my personal favorite though. Not too many good looking men, but thank god for Clive Owen.

The wins weren't too surprising, were they? I thought Jhud and Alan Arkin were guaranteed, as was Martin Scorcese. I wasn't too interested in all of it, I was transfixed on the music. You know, I had always liked Beyonce's version of Listen, even when it got trashed by a lot of people. Once I heard Jennifer sing a few lines, I changed my mind. Beyonce < Jennifer. And how great was "Love you I do"?

I wasn't able to watch the show very closely from my party, but it seemed like a long, drawn out, and boring show. I'm very happy for Melissa, and quite proud of her. We all let out a cheer when she thanked her wife. Even though her song sounds just like every other M.E. song from the past 10 years or so.

The Independent spirit awards were much more interesting and got it right by giving Ryan Gosling best actor.

She looks like part of that Christo exhibit in Central Park a few years ago.

^ That? Is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. I'm gonna have nightmares for weeks thanks to that sheer shirt.

Dead on. I'm surprised I didn't see the resemblance - I was so fascinated I started a Gates thead, and everyone pooed the whole thing. I was crushed.
