oh, that's weird. I can't think of anything strange, here. Some of my friends when i was young said "woof" instead of wolf, but i'm not sure that counts. I think in Cali we tend to drop our endings off words, or something, more. not sure, though.

Yep, "warsh" is common all around here too. But then, we're not too terribly far from each other.

My dad used to say "warsh" all the time, until I finally said, "Dad, there's no "r" in that word," and he started correcting himself.

Other popular mispronunciations around here include "chimley," "fustrated," and... not even sure how to spell this... "rohf."
It's supposed to be "roof" but it rhymes with "woof."

I also forgot "crick" (instead of creek) and "main-tain-ance," instead of maintenance.
