Looks like rocker Stevie Nicks and Hillary Scott really hit it off at the Lady Antebellum CMT Crossroads taping earlier this year. Now Stevie is showering Hillary’s newborn baby with gift.

Hillary posted a picture Sunday (Oct. 27) on Instagram of baby feet in red slippers with pink bows on them.

“Eisele is channeling her inner Dorothy today thanks to her Aunt Stevie (Nicks) who sent these amazing shoes! =) #spoiledalready,” Hillary wrote.

Lady A is releasing a deluxe version of their album Golden, complete with new single “Compass,” on Nov. 11.

I found this interesting about first names.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephanie

Stevie is even credited on the list.

Doesn't Stevie seem pretty normal in this clip? I mean, I feel like this is just how she would talk and act if that interview was taking place today. The Klonopin thing really seemed so in and out. In TOSOTM interviews, she seems pretty dazed, but here, two years later, she seems pretty clear-headed, even though the dependency would in theory be much worse.

if i was just listening to that, it sounds like it could have been an interview from yesterday. she seems pretty alert and doesn't look doped out.
maybe some days were worse than others

Grrr. That's why I hardly ever scan the comments, but because it was FM, I had too! People really piss me off sometimes.

That reminds me of the Youtube video saying Stevie Nicks was cloned and her clone is under MK Ultra...

I've known about this for a while. I remember when I told my friend Stephanie Lynn she was all like "No way! That is TOO COOL!!"

As I do remember she looked like she did in the 1980's and a big smile as I was watching the special.
Interesting
I once dreamt Stevie walked on stage with a toilet plunger on her head. This was NOT during her drug years...

I ordered the utterly pointless The Divine Stevie Nicks last night, for no real reason other than that I just haven't bought a Stevie album for a while and was kinda missing it. Is it weird that I'm a little excited, though? I actually really like the tracklisting, and somehow just making a playlist of it myself doesn't feel as satisfying.

I really miss the batwing sleeves. I hate that Stevie only unfurls them for about 30 seconds during the instrumental bridge of Rhiannon these days.

I completely understand your weirdness! It's strange I don't feel that compelled, even as an obsessive collector, to obtain this CD. I like the cover photo and would buy the CD only if I saw in the discount bin.

I'm sure Stevie had no input with regard to this odd compilation - seven songs from Wild Heart, seven songs from The Other Side of the Mirror. Perhaps it was compiled for a particular foreign market. Still, a very puzzling song selection.

Default Stevie on Hulu

I was playing around with Hulu today looking for Carole Lombard movies and later searched for Stevie and Stevie's Red Rocks concert popped up.

I've been hoping for a dream like this for a while: I was working for Fleetwood Mac while they were rehearsing for their upcoming tour. For the sake of secrecy, they were rehearsing in a school auditorium, during school hours. While the roadies were getting the stage set up, the band was sitting around chatting in the House. I casually mentioned to Lindsey that I had been listening to their album, 'Tango In The Night,' just that morning. All three of the songwriters perked up and began discussing what a hidden gem it was. Lindsey suggested it night be time to highlight the album in their set. I agreed and mentioned it had sold 3 million copies in the States. He turned to Stevie and asked, 'Didn't Ryan Murphy use Seven Wonders in American Horror Story?' Stevie said, 'Yes, but it's a slower mid-tempo song, and it is difficult for me to sing now.' Chris chimed in and said they could re-work it, speeding up the tempo a bit and RAISING the key just a smidge. She also mentioned how she'd been dying to do LIttle Lies on stage with Lindsey in the fold since 1987. By that time, the stage was set and the band took their places. Word got out that the Mac was rehearsing, and some teachers brought their classes to watch. I pulled Lindsey aside and told him we didn't need these people making Chris nervous, her first day of rehearsal. I offered to shoo them out after 10-15 minutes of watching. Lindsey agreed. Stevie had me touch her tambourine for luck as she walked on stage. They started with a cover, 'Fool If You Think It's Over,' switching out lead vocals to warm up. I patrolled the House, and started asking people to leave. I got in one shouting match with a kindergarten teacher because her students were so unruly. Finally, Mick got the idea to have one of the roadies close the curtain while they played so no one could watch. It cleared the auditorium out, and they wrapped rehearsal with a rendition of 'Seven Wonders,' dedicated to me.
