My grandma used to keep Pepto Bismol in the fridge...I always found that odd.
Do you mean you're not supposed to keep Pepto Bismol IN the fridge?

My cousin and I just spent 30 minutes, pulling iced pine tree limbs out of the way, getting my truck to the end of my 300' driveway, so I can get out to go to work tonight. And, OF FUKCING COURSE, the 4WD has decided to go out of it, TODAY.

Also in the fridge - ketchep, mustard, and all other sauces. But not the PB. Jam, yes, PB no.
I buy cheap bread(Aldi's Oat Bran - 79cents), and eat about two slices a day. I can't remember the last time I had some go moldy on me.

Cold bread tastes like ****!!!!!

I don't know..are you? I've never kept it there, of course I also can't remember the last time I bought liquid Pepto Bismol.

I just remember the one bottle in my grandma's fridge, it was there all through my upbringing, and as far as I know it was the same bottle

Hm. I never have the oil problem. Cold PB just doesn't spread.
And Sparky don't like that.

Listen Pervy McPerverton (carrie). PB does not belong in the fridge. End of story.

Exactly. Cold PB is a bread ripper.

And you must not buy natural PB if the oil doesn't separate. I believe that means it is hydrogenated, which takes away many of the benefits of eating peanut butter. I means something bad, I know.

heehee. fine, fine, have it your way.

and just for the record, i usually leave it out to get a little melty before i use it, hence, it does not rip the bread.

Melty. I like it. I think I'll use that. Melty.

I eat PB so rarely that really it's not even an issue...usually I buy it, eat it twice then Clancy gets the rest

Anyway - Right now I'm eating a handful of pretzels.

Okay, anal retentive mofo that I am, I searched the entire Pepto bottle, and there's nothing about refrigeration, only "don't expose it to temps above 104F".

My bottle is from the Walgreen's, in Clearwater, FL. It's 3 years old. Let's just say it will always be the LAST time I ever eat raw oysters! Spent my last two days of vacation with food poisoning.

Good to know. No raw oysters. *shudder*

Ok - so good to know that one isn't *supposed* to refrigerate Pepto....but three years old - doesn't that stuff expire?
