Let's face it these days the "great harmonies" are going to be done in the studio with "Lindsey's magic". The live harmonies went away after the Tusk tour. Mirage was rough(but great) and the Dance well..... Not quite live. I love LBT. The crossroads was fantastic.

I don't think Stevie (or anyone) could have added anything beneficial to either of these songs. They kind of are what they are.
This is THEIR thing. I hope they do well with it. IMO, these first two singles are real clunkers - especially the second one. I'm hoping there's better stuff to come from this collaboration. I'm rooting for them.

Each time I listen to the first 2 singles, I find myself liking them more and more. I listened to each about 5 times.

Same here. Couldn't been more happier with their work.

I'm just happy I get new music from my all time favorite "Band" solo or together. I will take what ever they want to release. I got into these folks in 1977 and never thought 40 years later I would still be getting NEW MUSIC today. As I have said in many posts before on all the forums, some songs/albums are better then others but.......the true MAC fans (IMO) won't trash any of it or any of them as people. Just enjoy the great music from all these members past and present.

The songs hang together well when played back to back.
I listened to them a few times in the car - loud - and I'm liking Christine's
song more and more.

It's no Love In Store (or Say You Love Me or You Make Loving Fun), but
I'm appreciating it on its own terms.

Holding out hope for some guitar 🎸 solos on other tracks...

My goodness this is exactly what I feel. Said the same thing to my kids the other day. 40 years later and can still enjoy.
Good to hear from people who feel the same way.

I'm beside myself knowing that I'm waiting a new album from Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham. W/ Mick and John..

It's like a dream come true. And... they're touring!!

Ugh, it's too much like Love In Store for me. I have never gotten the appreciation for that song. To me, it's far from Christine's capabilities, as is Feel About You.

Here's hoping they released the commercial garbage first and the rest of the album is better.

Assuming SATC is the same, we have the first 3 songs of the album now. In my opinion it's set a really good tone and seems to have a better sound that Seeds We Sow

Yes, that was that album's failing. Along with the fact that it doesn't follow my preferred tracklist.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.
