Absolutely over the line.

For some it will be a lesson. For others I suspect it will be like holding up a mirror.

Sigh, haven't posted in ages but here goes. I went to the Portland show with Elle and was standing with her when this happened. She didn't ask Lindsey anything about the firing. He literally just said out of nowhere "You know it was Stevie right?" He had also turned towards me then as to make sure I heard it too. He also mentioned how she didn't even think about the legacy of the band. I believe he said a couple of more things along those lines but I can't remember exactly what he said. She then said as long as you're ok. It was a short conversation.

I don't think this needs to be dissected anymore, that's what he said and the context he said it in.

Thanks Erin for making the effort to come and post this and explain the situation specifically for those being unnecessarily skeptical and confrontational

Thank you for posting this and clarifying (even though it really was pretty clear to most of us already). I am almost completely convinced that Stevie got Mick to ask Mike into the band before they fired Lindsey under the guise of Mike can play the "old stuff" that Lindsey seemingly refuses to play. Lindsey, of course, likely had a complete meltdown about this and that's where I think all his talk about her not thinking about the band's legacy comes into play. The timing between MusicCares and Mike getting a bday surprise call just doesn't ever add up if they fire Lindsey first and then are like "oh crap what do we do???" I can see Lindsey losing his mind over the idea of turning Fleetwood Mac in 2018 into some touring tribute to Tom Petty and Peter Green. The whole thing is just sad.

apparently not. So perhaps if others stopped engaging, they could just talk to themselves.

Funny how the people who gripe about negativity and nastiness and general doosheyness on the forum perpetuate it in their own way.

We get it, there are people who could watch Tr......I mean, certain members of FM...... shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue and still swear they didn't do it. You. will. not. change.their.minds. So stop. Treat it like a dog poo on your path, step around it, and continue on with whatever you were talking about. Simple.

Umm, I think what he was saying to Elle is...
'You know it was all Stevie?'
The only inference I can derive from that is...
'Hey, Elle, you know all this was Stevie's doing don't you?'
I think this would imply Lindsey leaving the band is purely because Stevie wanted that to happen.
Pretty simple, huh?

And yet people come on here accusing everyone else of not having a life and spend all of theirs trolling
