Interview with Mic
The local radio station just played a clip from a 12 minute interview with Mic. I haven't gotten a chance to listen to it, but the link's http://dve.com/pages/seanmcdowell.html.
The clip they played was about the time FM opened for the Dead. This was back in 1970, and it was the night that the Dead got arrested for their LSD use. FM was going to meet them back at the motel, but Mic was driving and because he was on acid he got lost. If they hadn't, he said they would have been arrested as well, and probably wouldn't have been able to tour in the US again. Funny story. |
