Famous Grads From Your High School

After reading the thread in the Stevie Forum about her attending the 40 year reunion of Arcadia High it reminded me of some "famous" grads from my high school:

Matthew Modine - actor - credits include Birdy, Full Metal Jacket, Vision Quest, Married to the Mob and the HBO movie - And the Band Played On. Matt's father ran the local drive in theater.

Jake E Lee - guitarist - played with Ozzy Osborne among others (Brian J will know who this is) You could hear him practice his guitar in his garage a mile away.

Esteban Loiza - Pitcher with the Oakland A's - came over the border from Tijuana to attend school in the States.

and not as famous as the others - Wild Willie Parsons - the Biker comic from this season's Last Comic Standing

any famous grads from your schools?

the only person famous from my high school and where I grew up is Archie Manning. I actually went to church with all the Mannings.

No one. High School or College.

Michael Knight (Project Runway) was wearing an Alderson Broaddus (college I graduated from) jacket in one of the episodes. I thought that was weird, being there are only 700 college students that go there a year and it is in the hills of West Virginia.

Jakey Lou Williams is a great guitarist known for his stint with Ozzy Osbourne after the death of Randy Rhoads.

Interesting that I just received a cd this morning featuring Jake E.Lee, the first & best Badlands album-"Badlands"

As for my high school, Only one to my knowledge is Robert Reed (aka Mike Brady of "The Brady Bunch") who sadly died of AIDS years ago.

That's funny... did you know the Modine's? I know his brother Mike, who lives about a mile from me.

I met Matt a few times. He was, how shall I put this, not the most focused student. He managed to attend all 3 high schools in the area. I knew his Dad the best because he used to be a frequent customer at my Dad's store.
